General Information
We’re based in Aspley Guise, Buckinghamshire, in a small commercial business park surrounded by the countryside. It’s where we blend, pack, and ship all of our teas.
At the moment, Tea Lab doesn’t have a physical retail shop open to the public — we blend, pack, and ship everything from our unit. Although, we do welcome visitors by appointment and can offer order collections. Please email us at hello@tealab.co.uk to arrange a suitable time.
We love partnering with like-minded cafés, hotels, restaurants, and spas who share our passion for quality tea. To join our wholesale community, simply email us at hello@tealab.co.uk or visit our Wholesale Page. Our team will be in touch with details and next steps.

Our Teas
Our packaging is designed to store your tea perfectly. Our glass amber jars protect from UV light and have screw on lids to keep out moisture and retain the aroma. Our refillable pouches also foil lined, they protect from light and can be resealed for freshness.
We source organically wherever possible, and many of our blends are made with certified organic ingredients. Tea Lab is proudly certified by the Organic Food Federation, ensuring that our sourcing and blending meet the highest organic standards.
Being organically certified means our teas are produced according to strict organic farming and processing standards — without the use of synthetic pesticides, herbicides, or chemical fertilisers. Tea Lab is organically certified with the Organic Food Federation (OFF), a UK certification body that ensures our ingredients and practices meet recognised organic standards at every stage — from cultivation to packaging.
No, never. All of our blends are made entirely from natural and organic ingredients, with no artificial flavours, colours, or additives.
Our teas are best enjoyed within 12 to 18 months of purchase (slightly less on our sample test tubes) To maintain their freshness and flavour, we recommend storing them in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture, with the jar or pouch sealed tightly after each use.
None of our teas contain any of the 14 allergens. We do not handle any of the allergens on our premises, however if you have any concerns, please email us at hello@tealab.co.uk
The teas listed below may contain traces of peanuts:
- Lights Out (Ginger and Lemon / Herbal Tea)
- Big Apple (Spiced Apple / Fruit Tea)
- Hibiscus (Herbal Tea)
If you would like any futher information about any of our teas in this respect, please get in touch.
Yes! We have a wide selection of naturally caffeine-free teas. Please explore our collection of Rooibos and Herbal Teas. We also have a C02 Ceylon decaf tea where the caffeine is removed with high pressure carbon dioxide - the most natural way to remove the caffeine.
Because we only source natural and organically grown ingredients, subtle variations can occur from one harvest to the next. Factors like rainfall, temperature, and sunlight can all influence the colour, size, and aroma of the leaves and herbs. Occasionally, when weather patterns or natural events affect our growers, we may need to source the same ingredient from a different supplier.
Not currently for retail, but our paper tea filters let you create your own, the same ones used by our wholesale partners. The link can be found here
Sustainability
Our amber apothecary jars and retail glass jars are made from British glass and are 100% recyclable. They can be kept on a kitchen counter top as the amber glass protects the tea from UV light.
Our mailing boxes are made from recycled paper and filled with natural crinkle eco-paper which is made from 100% recycled material and is recyclable. We also use paper tape with water soluble inks.
Our test tubes are made from borosicilate glass (more durable than regular glass) The lids on our test tubes are made from natural cork.
Yes, we encourage our customers to reuse and repurpose our glass test tube vials. Many customers repurpose them for spices, salts, or herbs.
